Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and recently refurbished with a very comfortable bed. The location was excellent, just across the road from the park and a short 10-minute walk to the Assembly Room. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The dining experience was great, offering a good variety of choices. However, the breakfast service was slightly hectic at times. Overall, a great value for money.
The hotel's rooms were in need of a makeover to keep them fresh, and the bathroom needed updating. Despite the tired appearance with ancient furniture and a dated bathroom layout, the room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The service was a bit rushed but friendly overall. The location was central but could get noisy. The dining experience was a mix of good and mediocre dishes. The facilities were average with room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was wonderful! The location is perfect for exploring the town and enjoying leisurely walks in Jephson gardens and along the river. The rooms were comfortable and clean, but the noise from the busy road was a bit of a downside on a summer night. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. The dining experience was delightful, with tasty dishes made from good ingredients. However, the hotel could benefit from modernizing the rooms despite it not majorly affecting the stay.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms were excellent, spacious, and clean, although the shower pressure was disappointingly low. The warmth in the room was a bit too much at times, especially with noisy neighbors from the nearby pub open until 1.00 am.
